QU LO GO

THE
GOBLIN

The Qu Lo Go short involves a mischievous goblin making themselves comfortable. I designed and modeled the goblin with texturing and lighting by: Ethan Goff

RIG
DEMONSTRATION

This rig was a test of my custom auto-rigging toolkit, a series of scripts to help speed up production for animation. I supplemented what the auto-rig generated with additional controls for the face, hands, and toes. Other features include stretchy IK arms, and dynamic ears joint chains.

ANIMATION
BREAK DOWN

Much of the short was animated using motion capture. Here is an example of the animation from motion capture to finished shot.

STORYBOARD
& IDEATION

Here we can see some of the pre-production work for the Qu Lo Go short. Some design iteration for the goblin character, as well as storyboards to guide the camera shots.
